Learn About Our Inspiring Journey
In a small village in Deir Al Qamar, the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming jasmine and the gentle hum of life. This was the heart of Lebanon, where my father, Mr. Joseph Tabet, was born and raised. He was a man whose spirit echoed with the stories of countless travelers and cultures he had encountered throughout his adventures. His passion for discovering new lands was rivaled only by his love for hospitality—a calling that would eventually shape not just his life but also mine.

From a young age, I watched as my father transformed every trip into a celebration of culture. Whether he was exploring the bustling markets in Egypt or savoring the rich flavors of Italy cuisine, he found joy in connecting with people and sharing experiences. His dream was always clear: to run a hotel that would welcome guest with open arms and create a home away from home. He envisioned a rustic retreat in Lebanon that would mirror the warmth and beauty he had encountered in his travels. Years passed, and my father shared his dreams with me, igniting a spark within my own heart. He often spoke of Deir Al Qamar—the village that held his roots, where ancient stones whispered tales of history. With every story he told, I could see the longing in his eyes; it was not just about building a hotel but about creating a space where cultures collided, friendships blossomed, and memories were forged.

Tragically, life took him too soon before he could realize this dream. The loss felt unimaginable, yet I knew I had to carry on his legacy. Inspired by my father's adventurous spirit and unwavering dedication to hospitality, I took up the mantle to make his dream come true.

Thus began the journey to create QASR TABET — a place that would not only honor my father's vision but also serve as a tribute to the man who had inspired so many. Every brick laid was infused with love; every corner designed reflected the rustic charm of Lebanon while embracing the diverse cultural influences my father cherished. QASR TABET became more than just a hotel; it evolved into a gathering place where travelers from Lebanon and around the world could feel the warmth of Lebanese hospitality. Guests arrived as strangers but left as friends, sharing laughter over traditional meals made from cherished family recipes and engaging in lively conversations under a starlit sky.
As I walked through QASR TABET’s doors each day, I felt my father's presence in every smile exchanged and every story shared. The walls echoed with laughter, reminding me that this place was indeed alive with the spirit of adventure he had instilled within me. Visitors marveled at the beauty of Deir Al Qamar while experiencing firsthand what it meant to be part of something greater—a community built on love, respect, and shared experiences.
Running QASR TABET is not just fulfilling a dream; it is living out my father's legacy—a testament to his belief that travel brings us closer together, transcending borders and uniting hearts. Through this endeavor, I hope to inspire others as he inspired me—reminding everyone that our dreams can become reality when we honor those who came before us. In every guest who walks through our doors, I see my father’s dream realized—a beautiful tribute to Mr. Joseph, a legend who inspired many not just through words but through actions rooted in love for humanity. Together at QASR TABET, we continue to celebrate culture, connection, and the beautiful tapestry of life that binds us all together.
